| Hong Kong Layover
Between San Francisco and Kathmandu, we stopped in Hong Kong just long enough to visit the downtown, ride the tram, and eat a meal. Hong Kong is a startling mixture of the past and the future. For instance, the scaffolding on the modern apartment tower in the rightmost photo is made of bamboo.
