We arrived at Thorung Phedi before the crowds and
claimed a table near the corner of the dining hall with a wide
view. As the hall filled with people and their multilingual
conversations, Jonathan laid out his paints, brushes and paper,
and painted the snowy mountain vista.
The gray clouds moved in so fast that by the time the painting
was finished, only the mountainside in the foreground was still
visible from the lodge.
